The Knights swept a flawless two-round victory over Diamond Hill Jarvis last week, winning the first by two runs and the second by four. It was at Arlington Heights that the boys in white brought home the Bi-District Championship, pulling ahead in the final four innings. Jaxson Trammell and Asher Hefner drove in two runs each, while Collin Heard, Chase Prosperi, Alex Wilt, and Gavin Rico all reached base twice. Trep Sanchez earned the win on the mound, allowing only two runs and striking out five over six innings, and Prosperi closed out the victory in the seventh, allowing no more runs on their opponents part and securing the second win with a final score of 6-2.
The boys are off for Clyde this Thursday and Saturday, April 7th and 9th, to take on Lubbock Cooper Liberty for the Area title.
