Returning to their home field after nearly a full month, the Knight found themselves in a fierce fight with the visiting Argyle Eagles. The boys in black played well against a strong opponent, with offense finishing the evening after chalking up 200 total yards. Jae'Shaun Estes led the ground game throughout the night with 13 carries totaling 72 yards, and Elijah Lopez and Avan Bolin found the end zone three times over for the Knights, once for the former in a rushing touchdown and twice on the ground for the latter. Colt Dobbs spearheaded the receiving corps with 46 yards on two receptions, one of which included a 27-yard catch. On the defensive side of the ball, Kade Leal recorded two sacks and Korbyn Barton lead the team with four solo tackles. Unfortunately, the performance of both divisions was unable to keep pace with their opponents, and Eagle Mountain came out the other side with a 21-56 final score.
The Knights are back on the road Friday, October 9th, taking on Granbury and looking to bounce back.
