What a night! Eagle Mountain hosted its final at-home game of the season last night with aim to keep the winning streak strong as they celebrated their senior teammates. And celebrate, they did, putting away the visiting Lady Hornets in a spectacular 3-0 sweep. Very little errors were committed on the part of the Knights as, in each set, the girls maintained a wide point gap between them and their opponent, setting the tone with a 25-11 win in the first bout of the evening. The girls in black keep Azle at bay through the remaining two matches. A strong defense ensured that only minor point gains were made, yet still staying well outside of the reach of victory. Set two ended in a 25-12 final score, and set three concluded the night with an equally decisive 25-13 triumph.
The last in-season game sees the Lady Knights facing off one more time against their district-mate, , taking the fight to Lady Rough Rider turf on Friday, October 23rd.
