The Knights were home again for the first time in two weeks to take on Lovejoy. It was a fierce fight that saw the boys in black push past their limits. Colt Dobbs led the receiving corps with four catches for 81 yards, while Jaxon Trammell completed 14 of 19 passess for 141 yards and added two rushing touchdowns. Temi Adesoji led the ground game with 92 yards on 12 carries, and Jae'Shaun Estes contributed 37 rushing yards and a touchdown. Defensively, the Knights continued to play hard and compete throughout the night, with Nate Castillo earning recognition for his performance as Defensive Player of the Game, while Luke Miller recorded five solo tackles and Keegan Szymanski added a sack. Cam Woods also made a big play for the defense, recovering a botched snap by Lovejoy's backfield and returning it deep into Lovejoy territory to set the Knights up inside the five-yard line. Unfortunately, however, despite these strong performances, Eagle Mountain came up short against the visitors 21-52; though, they didn't let the struggles hold them back, fighting hard until the very last whistle.
Eagle Mountain travels to the Colony on Friday, October 30th, for the second to last game of in-season play.
