Tuesday was an on-the-edge-of-your-seat thriller at Eagle Mountain. The Knights hosted W.T. White for the one and only meeting this season, and though it wasn't a district matchup, it didn't prove any less intense. Both teams fought fiercely for control over the diamond with very little give from either side as defense aggressively guarded the bases from seeing much occupation. It was Collin Heard - taking advantage of a passed ball and error - who put the Knights on the board by scoring from first base and chalking up the lone run for the entire game. Caden Lewis earned the win from the mound, tossing six scoreless inning while allowing just four hits and striking out 11 batters, and BJ Monterrosas brought the team home by closing out with a final strike out in the seventh.
Eagle Mountain is again on their home turf Saturday, March 28th, to take on the Glen Rose Tigers.
