The Knights fought hard in their two-day, Bi-District series against Benbrook last week, but were sadly unable to come out on top. Their opponent jumped ahead with an early 3-0 lead, yet the boys battle back hard over the course of game. Max Burris led the offense with a 2-RBI double that helped put up the two runs Eagle Mountain scored that evening, and Chase Properi and Gavin Rico added pressure to Benbrook by occupying the plates. Rico also split up pitching duties with Trep Sanchez to help spearhead the defensive game. Though the outcome was not what they wanted, falling short with a final score of 2-13, the Knights played an incredible season and proved themselves a force with which to be reckoned.
