In their first ever district meet as a program, the Lady Knights headed to Azle for a fierce competition with 20 other schools. Their performance on the mat was "outstanding", according to head coach Zachery Redden, as they placed a solid 8th out of all of the other teams. in the 100 lbs. weight class, Kat Lara came in at 7th, Joceline Bilolo secured 5th in the 138 lbs. class, London Wyatt won four matches after losing her first to earn 4th in the 145 lbs. class, and Bristol Busch went 3-0 with all first period pins, making her the first ever female district champion at Eagle Mountain High School.
