Eagle Mountain made their debut appearance at the annual EMS Shootout on Thursday, taking on their sibling schools in a fight for control over the mat. It was a tough battle that tested all of the skills the boys have learned over the winter season and showed that, though they are new, they are not a team to dismiss. Though they struggled, the Knights remained strong to the very end and did not give up, which showed a true testament to their character and the culture that is being fostered in the newly formed team.
The Knights head to Azle on Friday, January 31st, for the District 4-5A Tournament.
