What an inaugural season for Knights swimming! Under the leadership of Coach Chris Hudson and Coach Bo Miles, Eagle Mountain took like a fish to water in all of the events in which they participated as they put up impressive individual times and consistently placed high as a team. This trend didn't change at the District meet held on January 18th as both boys and girls took home an impressive 2nd place finish and the title of District Runner Ups. Wins that helped achieve this monumental accomplishment included, but were not limited to , the 2nd place finish in the Girls 200 medley relay, the 2nd place finish in the Girls 200 Free Relay, and the 2nd place finish in the Girls 400 Free Relay. The members of the team, individually, were able to make some big plays as well. Emersyn Mabry placed 3rd in both the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle, Julia Shrestha placed 3rd in the 100 butterfly, Leo Guillen placed 4th in the 200 free, and Tavin Nevill was the district champion in the 200 IM and 100 breast. All of the individuals who placed are also moving on as the first Knights in the program's history to move on to Regionals!
