The Eagle Mountain Knights kicked off their inaugural season on Friday, August 30, facing off against the Jacksboro Tigers. Despite a valiant effort, the Knights fell short of victory. Defensive standouts included Justin Fox, who recorded 12 tackles, two tackles for loss, and one sack. Gavriel Trevino added 10 tackles, one tackle for loss, and an interception. Matthew Neill contributed 11 tackles, while Mason Young chipped in with five tackles.
On the offensive side, Brycen Vindiola led the charge with 106 passing yards and one touchdown, while Mamoud Hussein added 89 rushing yards, and Cameron Henderson contributed 54 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Knights will look to bounce back as they travel to take on Grandview this Friday, September 6.
