The Knights clinched a huge win on Friday, capping an already momentous homecoming celebration with a sweeping victory against Lake Highlands. As the night went on, the team only got better as they found exploits in their opponents defenses and wided the point gap with each set. Their first bout ended in a a narrow 25-22 win, but matches two and three saw the girls in black progressively pull away from the pack, putting up final scores of 25-20 and 25-15 respectively and securing a 3-0 sweep. Molly Aubert lead the team in assists alongside Madie Haney Avery Williams taking center stage in kills. "It was a great way to end preseason," said head coach Hannah Seguin
Eagle Mountain heads into district play Tuesday, September 8th, as they head into Keller to throw down the gauntlet against the Fossil Ridge Lady Panthers.
