Under the Friday night lights last week, Eagle Mountain took on the visiting Steers of Graham High School in a pulse-pounding matchup. The Knight battered their defenses hard, amassing 199 total yards, including 92 yards on the ground achieved by Temi Adesoji and Jae'Shaun Estes rushing 37 and 35 yards respectively. Avan Bolin led the receiving attack with 28 yards, while Colt Dobbs recorded a team-high five receptions and Cayden Longoria added a 20-yard catch. On the defensive side of the ball, the boys in black fought fiercely, and Kade Leal provided an evening highlight with a sack. Unfortunately, the Knights were unable to find the break in the Steers' line and secure the victory, falling 0-48 by the final whistle; however, the positives gained from the evening outrank the negatives, and the boys look to apply them in their next bout.
Eagle Mountain is away on Friday, September 11th, taking on Joshua High School on foreign turf.
