With the threat of rain on the horizon last Thursday, the Knights took to the tennis court and ran the tournament like clockwork. Despite the tough conditions, and wind clocking in at 30-35 miles per hour, the boys and girls in black performed exceptionally. Mixed doubles team Alexa Bregman and Rex Horton advanced to the finals in the consolation "A " division and brought home the win, while "B" team Madelynn Linville and Cael Wilt stood strong in the championship bracket and defeated a 6A team to secure bronze. The latter duo was down 1-5 but snatched victory from the jaws of defeat with a massive come-from-behind win of 8-5. The boys doubles team of Brooks Gause and Ryan Goodner had a strong showing and cemented themselves as up and coming freshman to look out for on the Knights team.
Eagle Mountain hosts their own tournament on Friday, March 13th.
