Tuesday was a tough one for the Knights, hosting their home pitch to the Lake Worth Lady Bullfrogs in the first of two matchups. The girls in black put forth an admirable effort against a talented opponent but found an unlikely enemy in the very ball they over which they battled. Throughout the evening, each bounce seemed to favor the visiting team and kept Eagle Mountain playing defense. Unfortunately, the Lady Bullfrogs managed to jump the lines and put away four goals to the Knights' one scored by Madi Paugh.
Dusting themselves off, the ladies look forward to Friday, February 20th, to take on the Castleberry Lady Lions in a surefire comeback.
