Headed into the long weekend, the Eagle Mountain Knights were back on their home court Friday to face off against the Burkburnett Bulldogs. Towering as the number seven team in the state of Texas, the boys in white had their work cut out for them, going head to head against this tough opponent. From the onset, the Bulldogs were fierce opponents. They pulled ahead early on in the first quarter and remained at a distance for most of the game. However, the Knight kept close on their tails. Strong communication and an aggressive offense allowed the home team to rack up a good number of points to keep them in the game. Evan Bosch helped lead the Knights with several points to his name, scoring his 1000th career point. Though the outcome fell came down to a 48-75 loss on their part, it was an extremely strong showing against one of the toughest teams in Texas.
The Knights are back at home on Tuesday, February 17th, for the last in-season game against the Lake Worth Bullfrogs.
