On their home pitch after a week away, the Knights faced off against the ladies of Collegiate Academy in a fierce clash of wills. Most of the game was defined by impenetrable defenses on both sides of the field, effectively shutting down any advancement that was made on their territory. However, teamwork and communication forged what would end up being the game-winning goal attempt for Eagle Mountain. The girls in black created an opening long enough for Junior Amariya Colbert to breach the frontlines and send the ball soaring into the back net. This single goal put the Knights over the top and ended up gaining them the victory over their opponent 1-0.
Eagle Mountain is away on Tuesday, February 10th, to take on the Lake Dallas Lady Falcons.
