Tuesday night, Eagle Mountain hosted the Krum Bobcats for their fifth district game of the winter season. The Knights played hard, coordinating as a team throughout all four quarters of the game and staking their claim on their home court with fervor. Sadly, however, the Bobcats were swift and managed to bypass the phalanx the boys in white had imposed on their basket enough to take the top spot and never look back. By the final buzzer, the Knights closed the evening out with an end-game score of 55-78. This loss marks the first in district play for Eagle Mountain, setting their record now at 4-1. They still sit comfortably with a positive win streak, though, and plan to implement everything they learned on Tuesday into their future matchups.
Eagle Mountain is on the road Friday, January 16th, to face off against Springtown in their eponymous hometown.
