The Knights fought hard at the annual EMS meet, earning a number of first place finishes and setting several personal records in the process. On the boys' side Tavin Nevill finished 1st in the 200 IM and 100 Butterfly. Setting a new school record in the 200 freestyle and 200 medley relay were Tavin Nevill, Moshe Burg, Leo Guillen, and Pierce Ramsey. Burg then joined Tayton Bejsove, Derek Hedstrom, and Michael Hatfield for the 400 freestyle relay to set another new school record. On the girls' end, Emersyn Mabry, Olivia Wilson, Julia Shrestha each took first in the 100 breaststroke, 50 freestyle, and 100 butterfly respectively. The 200 freestyle relay team - consisting of Mabry, Wilson, Maddi Cavin, and Kynnedi Price - placed second overall, as did the 200 medley relay team made up by Cavin, Mabry, Shrestha, and Wilson. Head Coach Bo Miles went on to comment on the teams' success, saying "Overall, I am very impressed with the effort and level of competition out team exhibited. Armor Up!"
The Knights are out of the pool for the winter break but will return on Saturday, January 17th, for the district swim meet.
