Tuesday evening's matchup between the Eagle Mountain Knights and the Argyle Eagles had the audience on the edge of their seats. Both teams were nearly in lockstep the entire course of the game, neither gaining the upper hand for long before the other swooped in the contest. The boys in white played earnestly, however, and had the pedal to the metal up until the very end. Their strong gameplay forced the showdown into overtime, but sadly, they were unable to come away with the win after the Eagles sneakily garnered the last few points needed to come out on top 58-65. Even so, it was a sign of the Knights' skill on the court and how competitive they can be against established teams. Evan Bosch lead the night in scoring with 28 points added to the team tally.
The Knights head to Godley on Thursday, December 11th, for a three-day tournament.
