Friday was a great day for the Knights. Not only did the boys on the field successfully rout their opponents, but so too did the girls on the court. The Lady Knights faced off against the Castleberry Lady Lions in a ferocious matchup that saw the girls in black dominating every minute of play. Their opponents did gain momentum as the evening went on, but it was not enough to overcome the tight grip the home team held over their gymnasium. Brooke Lacewell led the Lady Knights in kills with a total of 15, followed closely by teammate Izzy Little with ten.
Tuesday, September 23rd, the girls are headed to the eponymous Bridgeport High School to face off against the Lady Bulls.
