In their second annual Forthcoming game as a program, the Eagle Mountain Knights dominated their home field against the Ferris Yellowjackets. From kickoff, the boys in gold proved to be unstoppable in their push for victory. Defense laid the groundwork, keeping a tight hold on their territory, while offense consistently found the openings in their opponent's line and secured touchdown after touchdown. Kayden Steward had a punt return for a touchdown on special teams, and Jase Lunsford and Matthew Neill forced fumbles that were recovered by Justin Fox and Demarcus Sewell. The dynamic teamwork of this year-two team served the players well, resulting in a 47-0 shutout.
The Knight are off to Farrington Field on Friday, September 26th, for a showdown with Benbrook.
