Dominance and confidence. These were the two words head coach Leslie Crook used to describe the performance of the Eagle Mountain Tennis team in their performance yesterday afternoon. Racking up a huge 18-1 victory, the Knights have worked their way into into the 2nd place position, tying themselves with Brock and trailing behind only Peaster for the top spot in the district!. It is because of the hard work from these talented young men and women that the Knights will be advancing to the playoffs in only their second season! "I couldn't be prouder of their work ethic," commented Coach Crook, "but we still have work before us we still have Ponder and Peaster to play. The work isn't over, but for now, we're celebrating this great victory." Eagle Mountain now sits at a record of 4-1, a win rate that they are eager to continue growing.
The Knights travel to Argyle Middle School next Tuesday, September 23rd, facing off against Ponder on neutral ground.
