The heat started to ramp back up this weekend, but that might have been because the Knights travelled to Pioneer turf for the team's first Boswell Invitational. It was a day of many, many highs for both the boys and girls of the the Eagle Mountain Cross Country team. Several PRs were set set by the gentlemen, including a 21:11 for freshman Daniel Larios, and a new school record of 19:11 in the 5K was accomplished by the appropriately named Dash Barrick. Violet Brok and Cailyn Johnson helped lead the girls to a 3rd place finish overall, coming in 11th and 14th respectively.
The Knights are back out on the track Friday, September 19th, to take Castleberry by storm.
