The Lady Knights exploded onto the scene in their district opener Tuesday, chalking up another sweeping victory. From the onset, Eagle Mountain dominated the court and didn't let up over all three sets played. Through a combination of cooperative defense and aggressive offense, the girls in black soared ahead of their opponents in the first matchup to finish with a staggering 25-7 final score. This trend continued into the next two games. Krum found their footing in the second, but was unable to catch up before ultimately falling 25-17. The Lady Knights then ended the evening with another marginal scoring gap of 10 points, lighting up the scoreboard with 25-15 win. Molly Aubert and Mandie Haney were the standouts, helping lead their team in assists and kills respectively.
Friday, September 12th, Eagle Mountain travels to Burkburnett for another spirited showdown, this time against the Lady Bulldogs.
