Eagle Mountain fought a fierce battle last Friday against the Grandview Zebras. The boys in black made several great plays in their pursuit of the win, but their monochrome opponents managed to hold firm defensively and sneak through the few minor cracks in the Knights' armor. The final score might have read out a 25-34 loss for Eagle Mountain, but the fluorescent lights of the scoreboard could not accurately reflect the talent displayed by each of the boys on the home team nor how close they kept the game through all four quarters. Terry Starks was the standout of the evening on offense, racking up 25 carries for a whopping total of 231 rushing yards and two touchdowns. On defense, Cortez Cunningham made a an interception and turned the ball back in possession of the Knights.
This Friday, September 12th, Eagle Mountain is on the road to Paradise, looking to score a big with against the Panthers.
