Bobby Crook
Bobby Crook will be the inaugural Head Baseball Coach at Eagle Mountain High
School, bringing with him over 20 years of professional baseball experience
with the Texas Rangers.
Since joining the Rangers in 2004, Coach Crook has held several key roles,
including Area Scout, Special Assignment Crosschecker, and various front office
positions over his 21 season tenure. His extensive scouting expertise is
complemented by his managerial experience with the Texas Rangers Area Code
team, the Texas Rangers Scout Team, the Texas Scouts Association North All-Star
team, and his coaching roles with the Cooperstown Cobras organization and USA
Baseball prospect camps.
A 3-year letterman at Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Crook played
collegiately at the University of Dallas and earned a bachelor’s degree in
broadcast journalism from the University of North Texas. He resides in Fort
Worth with his wife, Marianne, their son, Thomas (13) and their daughter,
Claire (10).
