Byron Bode
Byron Bode joins the Eagle Mountain High School staff with 25
years of experience as a teacher and coach, serving the last 8 years as the
Campus Coordinator and Head Football Coach at Chisholm Trail High School. Prior
to that, Bode was an integral part of starting a program from scratch when
Byron Nelson opened in 2009. While there he was the Offensive Coordinator,
Assistant track coach and assisted with the golf program. Coach Bode’s other
career stops in include Plano, Allen, Van Alstyne, and Byron Nelson.
An alumnus of San Angelo Central High School, Coach Bode went
on to play football and baseball at Ranger Jr. College. After two years at
Ranger, he transferred to Angelo State University and punted for the Rams to
finish out his playing career. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology
from ASU in the fall of 1998.
Byron and his wife, Alli, have been married for 21 years. She
is an assistant principal at High Country Elementary. They have two daughters:
Blake and Parker. Blake is a ’22 graduate of Chisholm Trail HS and is in her
2nd year at The University of Arkansas. Parker is a freshman, will join the
Knight Family as a sophomore, and is involved in soccer and track. In their
spare time, the Bode’s enjoy spending time in the outdoors in northern Arkansas
and at the family ranch in Crowell, TX.
